Dewey Park - William Penn (the Charles Park Statue) watches over a beautifully landscaped oasis in the heart of the City. Bicentennial Park - Formerly a home with a street level store-front common in history, now another “pocket” of green space adjacent to the “Town Square”. Pathway from DE Street to Battery Park - One of the many ways to visit Battery Park complete with a bike corral for safe parking.

Ferry Landing Park - Spectacular water views and relaxing green space where the Ferry once commuted from New Castle to Pennsville, New Jersey in years past. Penn Farm House - Colonial living preserved in the last farmhouse residence of the Trust owned original 11 tenant farms. Barns - Still in operation, historic “Bank” Barn and “Granary” buildings are in use for farming and educational events at Penn Farm. Bellanca Air Museum - Home to Delaware’s Aviation history museum, this former air hangar houses the famous Bellanca airplanes that were built on the site and were one of the first to traverse the Atlantic Ocean. Good-Will Fire Co #18 - Home to one of the oldest and finest fire fighting companies in Delaware. Battery Park - Spectacular views of the Delaware River make this Park a refuge from day to day stress. Town Hall - The “heartbeat” of the City where the City Council meets monthly and serves as the office and Boardroom of the Trustees of The New Castle Common and the The Weekly newspaper office. Battery Park - One of the regions’ cleanest and safest Parks where tens of thousands come to walk the river walk, enjoy the playground, throw Frisbees, or just take a nap on the acres of well maintained parkland. Third Street Library - A Frank Furness design and New Castle’s original Library.   Now used by the New Castle Historic Society and others as a venue for displaying exhibits that celebrate New Castle’s rich and diverse history.
